We would like to welcome you to the Person County Register of Deeds Web Page.  This office provides many services to people of all walks of life, whether professional community or the general public. All documents pertaining to land transactions are recorded and maintained in this office.  We also keep and maintain vital records, including births, deaths, and marriages.  This office also issues marriage licenses, typingtutortest.com administers Notary oaths, retains military discharges, cemetery records, grave removals, plats, genealogy information, as well as other useful information.

Person County was formed in 1792 from Caswell County.  This includes land records as well as marriage records.  Prior to the formation of Person County, records can be found at the Caswell County Register of Deeds Office, (336) 694-4193.
